These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the EuroCape Cellars website, as well as all purchases made through it.
EuroCape Cellars curates and imports a selection of South African wines for customers in Switzerland. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

3. Eligibility
Our portfolio includes alcoholic beverages. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally permitted to purchase alcohol in Switzerland.
We reserve the right to request age verification at any stage of the order or delivery process and to refuse or cancel orders where legal requirements are not met.
4. Products
We take care to present our wines with accuracy and respect for their origin.
However, as agricultural products:
- vintages, labels, and packaging may vary;
- tasting profiles may evolve over time;
- availability may be limited.
All products are offered subject to availability. Images are illustrative.
5. Orders and Contract Formation
The presentation of wines on our website constitutes an invitation to order.
By placing an order, you submit an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only once your order has been confirmed or dispatched.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where necessary, including in cases of limited availability, pricing inaccuracies, or payment issues. Any payment received for unavailable items will be refunded.
6. Prices
All prices are shown in Swiss francs (CHF).
EuroCape Cellars is not registered for VAT in Switzerland. Accordingly, no VAT is charged on purchases.
Delivery and any additional charges are displayed clearly at checkout.
Prices may be updated from time to time. The price applicable to your order is that shown at the time of purchase.
7. Payment
We accept the payment methods presented at checkout.
Payment is required in full prior to dispatch. By providing payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected method.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders in the event of failed or suspicious transactions.
8. Delivery
We deliver within Switzerland.
Delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on availability, location, and external factors such as transport conditions.
Delivery is considered complete once the goods are delivered to the address provided.
Customers are responsible for:
- ensuring accurate delivery details;
- being available to receive the order where required;
- ensuring compliance with age verification at delivery.
Additional charges may apply for failed deliveries.
9. Transfer of Risk and Title
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.
Ownership remains with EuroCape Cellars until full payment has been received.
10. Inspection
We recommend that you inspect your order promptly upon delivery.
If you notice any issue, including damage, breakage, or incorrect items, please contact us as soon as possible and within 5 days of delivery, with supporting details and, where possible, photographs.
11. Returns
Due to the nature of wine as a consumable product, returns are generally not accepted.
However, we will of course assist where:
- goods were damaged in transit;
- an incorrect item was supplied;
- a product is demonstrably defective;
- required under applicable law.
Please contact us before returning any goods.
12. Corked or Faulty Wine
Occasionally, a bottle may not show as intended.
If you believe a wine is faulty, we invite you to contact us with details of the wine and the issue encountered.
We may request the return of the bottle and closure for evaluation. Where a fault is confirmed, we will offer an appropriate resolution, such as replacement, credit, or refund.
13. Promotions
Promotions, offers, and promotional codes are subject to the conditions communicated at the time.
Unless otherwise stated:
- promotions cannot be combined;
- they are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash;
- they apply only to new orders and not retrospectively.
14. Website Use
You agree to use this website responsibly and in accordance with applicable law.
In particular, you agree not to:
- misuse the website or its content;
- place fraudulent orders;
- interfere with the website’s operation or security.
We reserve the right to restrict access in the event of misuse.
